This document outlines the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of the Xocchiali mobile application and its companion smart glasses device (”the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Xocchiali is designed to enhance your daily life through smart features like notification tracking, voice commands, quick triggers, and device control. You may use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and these terms.

2. Data Collection and Use

Xocchiali collects only anonymous technical data, including:

• Notification Metadata:
  We collect which apps (e.g., WhatsApp) send notifications and whether the notifications were displayed on the smart glasses or not.
    We do not collect or access the content of notifications.
  
• Trigger Events:
  Actions triggered by the user from the smart glasses (e.g., Do Not Disturb mode, launching camera), including how often they are used.
• Battery Level:
  Battery percentage of the smart glasses is periodically recorded for diagnostic purposes.
• App Launch Events:
  Timestamps of when the Xocchiali mobile application is opened.
• Notification Settings:
  LED blink patterns, colors, and sounds assigned by the user for specific apps (e.g., red light for SMS, classic sound for email).
• Device Information:
  Device brand, model, OS version, device ID, and paired glasses MAC address or serial number.
  This data is used solely for functional pairing and system optimization.
  
  

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No personal data (name, email, phone number, contacts, location) is collected.
• No audio or voice data is recorded or transmitted.
• No camera or microphone input is stored or shared.
  
  

Where is the Data Stored?

All data is either stored locally on the user’s device or securely on our encrypted servers in anonymized form. No identifiable personal data is ever uploaded.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

Collected data is used exclusively to:

• Enhance app and device functionality
• Improve user experience based on anonymous usage trends
• Monitor and improve device performance
• Debug or diagnose issues

Your data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising or profiling.

4. Voice Control

Xocchiali smart glasses include a microphone for voice command functionality. We guarantee:

• No audio is recorded
• No audio is transmitted or stored
• All voice processing is done locally on the device
• Voice input is only used to control features (e.g., launch app, toggle modes)
  
  

5. Intellectual Property

All software, hardware design, and related content are the intellectual property of Xocchiali AB. Reverse engineering, duplication, or redistribution without written consent is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

Xocchiali AB is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided “as is” and may change over time.

7. Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated occasionally. If changes are made, we will notify you via the app or website. Continued use of the Service implies acceptance of any changes.
